On Sunday, April 7th, Hudson Pickle will again host a pickleball tournament to raise funds for Kids’ Club and the programs we support. Last year’s event was such a great success, raising needed funds for youth and families in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, and also bringing our community together for a day of fun and competition. We were delighted by the turnout of over 100 players, volunteers and spectators, as well as by the press and social media coverage, including an article about the event in The Hudson Independent.
Given the success of last year’s event, we are thrilled that Hudson Pickle has agreed to run another tournament for Kids’ Club’s benefit this spring. It again will be held at the Sleepy Hollow Middle School and High School gyms. Considering how popular pickleball has become in our community, we are planning for even more players this time!
We were so grateful to the sponsors who supported last year’s tournament. They made such a difference in our ability to offer a top notch experience to the players, complete with warm-up stretches, refreshments, continuous play in two indoor gyms, medals for the winners, takeaway swag and more, and we hope we may count on sponsorship support again this year.
