What a treat it was to visit the Tarrytown Arts Camp this week! Creativity, thoughtfulness, problem-solving and fun filled the classrooms at Sleepy Hollow High School, where we witnessed elementary and middle school aged children, together with their camp counselors, enjoying themselves while creating art. With in-district and out-of-district faculty leading the programs, the younger students were engaged with theater, music, movement and art activities, while the older ones were busy building pottery, bridges and other structures in the clay and architecture camps.
Kids’ Club is thrilled to have helped make this wonderful program accessible to even more local children this year by helping to fund scholarships to those students who otherwise would not be able to afford the full tuition.
