For Sleepy Hollow High School students dreaming about designing, building, or selling homes, today’s Power Lunch Career Panel was the place to be. Approximately forty Sophomores and Juniors piled into the High School Library Media Center, where they heard from a panel of three professionals: Sam Vieira, Architect and Construction Manager, Principal of SVF Design Inc; Eric Clingen, Furniture Restorer, Owner of Tarrytown Woodworks; and Lisa Goodrich-Zedlovich, Esq, Licensed Real Estate Broker, Owner of Guard Hill Realty. All of the panelists paved their own way to get where they are today in their careers, and the overarching message they shared was to explore different pathways to success. Sponsored by the SHHS Guidance Department, Kids’ Club, and Viana Pizza, this ongoing series continues to expose students to a cross-section of interesting career opportunities.
