“Do you like to cook, garden or visit art museums? Are you interested in history, design or project management? Meet three local professionals whose careers have touched food, land and art….Pizza will be served.” This is how students at Sleepy Hollow High School were invited to the third installment of SHHS’s Power Lunch series, and boy, did they come out in droves. Approximately fifty students came to hear inspirational and useful thoughts from Irene Hamburger, Vice President of Blue Hill and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Matt Neider, Landscape Designer and Project Manager of Westover Landscape Design, and Rachel Hanson, Curatorial Assistant at Kykuit and an Independent Art Collection Manager. Although each speaker had varying career paths, one theme was consistent: if you have a passion, there is a career out there for you to pursue!
