This week, Kids’ Club was happy to support The Family YMCA at Tarrytown’s Y Theatre Program in presenting “The Tempest” at Washington Irving Elementary School. Fourth and Fifth Graders took on the challenge of performing this Shakesperean play to their schoolmates, friends and family. It was delightful to see youngsters from all backgrounds responding to the rich text and ideas presented in this play. We congratulate director Peter Royston, the Y, and all of the cast and crew on their hard work and talented performances.
