The AFHT Family Literacy Program’s Holiday Party went virtual this year, but warmth, fun and good cheer spilled out of the computers and into the homes of the families and special guests who participated in this annual celebration nevertheless.
TUFSD Superintendent Christopher Borsari kicked off the event with a welcome to the families, and AFHT teachers Maribel and Rocio led the children through a sing-a-long, story time, raffle and scavenger hunt. Kids’ Club participated by providing food and holiday crafts for the families to enjoy, in addition to being a funding source for the program all year long.
